Is it really this bad?

After a week in Myrtle Beach with the family I am apparently back in the real world. The first thing I noticed was the really gruesome news programs. The fact that the first thing I heard was the story about a 11 year old found murdered was like pouring ice cold water over my over exposed scalp. To make matter worst, the suspected killer is a friend of the family and a known “sex offender”.

Well after getting by that sad situation, I picked up the news paper to see my favorite hangout, the Owing Mills theater, was the scene of police action while I was out of town. Don't get me wrong, I hope law enforcement jack up the heat so high that the “want to be criminals” find another haunt far away from where I go. But the fact that so much happened up here and virtually nothing was going on in Myrtle Beach, except relaxation and the slow gradual depletion of my savings is surprising. The South Carolina news was so boring I got most of my news from CNN and that other station with the supposedly “true and balanced” coverage.

Anyhow, I am back and I am sure I'll gradually toughen up. In the meantime I'll try to get back into the gym and work off some of the weight I apparently gained.

Oh yes, whats with those great big ugly Ehrlich signs? I have to pass one every time I go to the food market. Are they legal?
